Introductory Technical Training for New Employee

After an orientation conducted on entrance, 2-month introductory technical training will be provided. In this period, those who have knowledge about computers or those without take the same curriculum. The target of the training is to acquire the grounding for hardware and a programming language, such as C.

Acquisition of Fundamental Techniques

After finishing the technical training for new employees, training for fundamental techniques is provided. The objective is the fast acquisition of technical knowledge, that is essential for the actual business. New employees will gain expertise and know-how, which is accumulated over a lengthy period, through primary education, OJT, and technical training.

Technical Training

During the educational / training time, each employee systematically takes technical training that suits their job and service length.
  • SE technical training ( selective from 130 lessons prepared for beginner to advanced classes. )
  • Product development technical training ( selective from 200 lessons prepared for beginner to advanced classes. )
  • CSS technician training ( selective from 15 lessons prepared for beginner to advanced classes. )

Training for Each Rank
  • Training according to rank ( 8 different training programs are provided for each rank, from new employees to managers. )
  • Strategy management training ( training in game form to experience cooperate management )
  • Essay presentation ( the second year and the sixth year )
  • English training ( the first year, 2 / week for approx. 5 month ), intermediate and advanced English training

Through this education and training, each employee is making an effort to acquire expertise and to improve techniques. Also, everyone takes qualification tests, such as the Information Processing Technician Test and presents scholarly papers, etc. as follows:

Projects of the year that have brought remarkable results are carefully selected from research and development plans. Once in year, the content and results of the projects are presented to the management of Hitachi, Ltd. and group companies.

Study Abroad and Fellowship System

Study abroad and a fellowship system are provided. The objectives are to improve expertise relevant to a research theme which is based on the Company's business strategy, learn state-of-the-art technology, and obtain a master's degree by studying at graduate school, university laboratory, and other research organizations, inside and outside Japan. Nurturing medium and small businesses consultants, licensed tax accountants, public accountants, etc. is also the aim of the system.
